His latest publications are “Unamuno y los dilemas de la nacionalidad” Revista Hispánica Moderna [forthcoming]; “Escritura y percepción en la narrativa de Juan José Saer: El entenado como sistema de representación especular” Revista de Humanidades: Tecnológico de Monterrey, 15 (Fall 2003): 13-29; “Testimonio, memoria y transgresión en la estética activa de Rodolfo Walsh: de la muerte del aura a la ‘escritura oral’” Revista de la Facultad de Lenguas Modernas: Universidad Ricardo Palma, 6 (November 2003): 89-98. His current research include articles on the Genealogy of Spanish Empire in Nineteenth Century Spain, the Discourse of the Hispanismo, the Aesthetic Ideologies of Ramón del Valle Inclán, and a book-length project entitled Los discursos de la modernidad en el fin de siglo español.
