Bio: 

Annice Wetzel taught French at Hickman High School in Columbia, Missouri for 39 years. She supervised more than 30 student interns. She enjoys mentoring other teachers and her goal is to compile a resource book of creative teaching ideas for elementary and intermediate French.

She was the recipient of a National Endowment for the Humanities grant in 1984 and also in 2007 to study in France, as well as two American Association of Teachers of French grants for study abroad in 1986 and 2001. She also worked in France on archaeological digs for three summers.

During her high school career, she was involved in the administration of the National French Contest for many years and received a Rotary Service award and a Paul Harris award for her work with high school study abroad programs.
