"Nose grease, wax, and holy water in medieval manuscripts" is the annual Medieval and Renaissance Studies Lecture. 

Kathryn Rudy is the MARS Scholar in Residence. She is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Edinburgh; Sir Walter Scott Medalist; Professor; School of Art History, University of St Andrews; Associate Fellow, St Hugh’s College, Oxford; and Excellence Laureate, Radboud University, The Netherlands.
